FAYME (pronounced fame) is derived from the Latin word meaning of high reputation, renowned. At FAYME French Bulldogs, our goal is to breed the highest quality French Bulldogs, including that which mirrors the AKC standard, promoting a line free of congenital and health defects. We would never compromise the health of any of our dogs to turn a profit.
One can search extensively and still have trouble finding puppies that meet the standards at FAYME. You can rest assured knowing that FAYME is committed to preserving the breed. FAYME only produces one litter of puppies at a time and each puppy is raised with tender love and care and is treated as if it has already found its forever home. This further ensures high quality French Bulldogs with excellent temperaments. Their fun loving nature and willingness to please makes them a must have for even the most discriminating buyer.
For the past twenty years I have had a love affair with the Chinese Shar-Pei and never considered another breed. When I lost my last female I had no thoughts of replacing her because I still had two males. My female was the pack leader and her passing made it especially difficult for the boys. After six months of grieving I decided to get another female to take charge. The thought of a smaller breed was very appealing, but I couldn't think of a single one that would fit my personality. While reading a Jonathan Kellerman novel I came across the French Bulldog character Blanch, who sounded utterly charming. The French Bulldog was unfamiliar to me so I immediately began to research the breed. I was instantly captivated, but a little intimidated by their cost. After completing my research I decided that I had found the breed I was looking for. Now the search began to find the right dog.
My first French Bulldog came into my life over the 4th of July weekend in 2007. Zolly was four months old and the most adorable puppy I had ever seen. My two boys (both black 55 lb Chinese Shar-Peis) fell instantly in love with her. She was extremely smart and ended up training me. I thought my family was complete until the following March I had the opportunity to purchase a six month old pied male French Bulldog. Alik was just too irresistible to pass up. Now I have six wonderful French Bulldogs and a Shar-Pei who all live in the house with me. Sounds like a lot, but they all very well behaved and so much fun to be around.
Alik and Zolly have been one of the smartest decisions and investments that I have made. Wonderful companions, they have brought so much joy into my life. The pair has produced the most magnificent puppies. I ended up keeping all of the females for my breeding program. Now to make FAYME complete all I needed was to find another male for my girls. After a long search I found A'Vigdors Joujou Prefere (Ivan) at A’Vigdors Kennel in Moscow, Russia. His impeccable pedigree will only enhance what I am currently producing. FAYME is dedicated to the French Bulldog and will continue to pursue our quest for excellence.
