Kelly, Nate & LincolnSarah, Phil, Cousteau and Camus April 6, 2009 I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Fayme French Bulldogs breeder and supreme puppy Mom, LuAnn, for her amazing help in finding the most wonderful companion and addition to our family. My husband and I looked for a French Bulldog breeder for over a year before I accidentally stumbled upon LuAnn's website, and we are sure glad we waited to find her! Before LuAnn, we had seen almost every website on the world wide web, visited several breeders and found that there was such an astounding difference in Frenchie quality, conformation and disposition between breeders. Frankly, we were also shocked at what various puppy brokers (who called themselves breeders) were trying to sell as healthy, happy French Bulldogs. For people looking to purchase a French Bulldog, please, please do not support these kinds of breeders/brokers and educate yourself on the AKC standards of this precious breed. There are too many sick, inbred, unfortunate pups out there because people are buying the first Frenchie they find. If you've arrived at Fayme French Bulldogs, rest assured you are safe and have found some of the best dogs out there. If you want a smart, beautiful, healthy dog with a great disposition and champion conformation you have found your breeder and you won't be disappointed. From the moment we found LuAnn's website, we knew that we had found a conscientious and responsible breeder who not only had smart, beautiful dogs with amazing temperaments, but healthy and happy pups that would come to you at a responsible age, pre-spoiled and pretty much trained. Yes, I said trained! Our pup was trained properly by LuAnn with chew toys so there has been no destruction of furniture, shoes etc. Many breeders fail to do this. Our pup was pretty much potty trained when we received him from LuAnn and was obviously raised in a home with all the workings and day-to-day activities necessary for him to be well adapted. Our dog has absolutely no behavioral problems because he was properly socialized with people and dogs, not kept in a yard or a kennel. He loves all children and people as well as every dog he meets because of LuAnn. He is amazingly intelligent and continues to impress us (and our trainer) at puppy training classes, thank goodness for Fayme! We were educated by LuAnn regarding the proper diet and nutrition of our pup and can see and feel the proof every time we look at his beautiful coat, teeth and smile--We hear the proof in LuAnn's diet every time anyone pets our pup, they are simply amazed at how soft his fur is. Our vet cannot say enough about the health of our Frenchie because of how many horror stories she sees from other breeders/brokers. Besides breeding and training exceptional French Bulldogs, LuAnn has constantly been available by phone and email from the first day I called. She is one of the most honest, professional and educated breeders I have had the pleasure of working with, without the smug attitude some breeders impose. Besides being a responsible breeder of French Bulldogs, LuAnn is the "go-to" for any French Bulldog question--a walking encyclopedia of Frenchie knowledge. She walked us through every step of selecting, purchasing and shipping our dog. She went through every part of the pup's routine from what he liked to sleep on, to the proper food, to grooming tips, to recommendations for books, favorite snacks and treats, even down to what type of food and water bowl we should get. All of this may sound weird, but it makes all the difference in the pup's transition to your home--Our transition has been seamless because of all the recommendations and help from LuAnn. You also want a breeder who is concerned about shipping something as fragile as a young pup--LuAnn had mapped out the weather conditions, found the most direct flight and orchestrated getting a young pup safely over 3000 miles with a smile on his face. If you're looking for a fly-by-night, irresponsible breeder who will disappear with your money you'll be very disappointed with LuAnn. She keeps her website up to date with all her dogs and past pups, continues to show her dogs and is still so interested in our pup's well being. I love that she is still so much a part of our Frenchie adventure. French Bulldogs are really an amazing breed, thank goodness for Fayme!
